Castable refractory lining

A furnace castable refracory lining is alkaline and acid two, most are the basic castable refracory lining of furnace.

The characteristics are as follows:
Should have sufficient refractoriness and softening point. This is because in the arc under the action of castable refracory lining in different parts of the inner surface temperature of 1500 to 1800℃.

Have a strong slag resistance. Because slag in steel making process, smoke at high temperature through the castable refracory lining of the pore penetration the inside of the refractory material, melting loss, tissue caused by delamination.

Should have better thermal shock resistance.This is because the open door in the steelmaking process, improve furnace cover will make the castable refracory  lining and cracking of refractories for sudden changes in temperature, the castable refracory lining damage.

Should have sufficient strength. Because the electric charge, castable refracory lining by impact, tilting by vibration, boiling by metal, slag and air scour.

The thermal conductivity is small and the conductivity is low, so that the temperature of molten steel in the furnace can be constant, and the energy is saved, and the heat efficiency is improved.
